Boulder Opal Pendant   Origin Quilpie, Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 2 (Boulder Opal) Approximate Size  1  1/8" x 5/8" x 5/16" (29mm x 16mm x 8mm) Colour & Description Full faced Boulder opal with a thin layer of precious opal on a natural ironstone backing.  Translucent pale blue opal with blue-green-and red sparkles. Very high polish with only a small amount of the backing ironstone showing through on the face.  There is a hole drilled  sideways through the stone.
