Koroit Matrix Opal     Origin Koroit,  Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 3 (Matrix Opal) Approximate Size 7/8" x 5/8" x 1/8" (24mm x 16mm x 4mm) Colour & Description Lovely green sparkles, dark brown ironstone with a centre of lighter coloured silicified clay. Very shallow undercutting in the clay that blends well with the stone, and the inderside of the stone has some small holes along the edge that will be covered when you set it. There is some nice colour on the back of the stone as well.
