Koroit Nut Opal Pendant   Origin Koroit,  Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 3 (Matrix  Opal) Approximate Size 1  1/8" x 13/16" x 3/16" (29mm x 20mm x 6mm) Colour & Description Koroit nut matrix opal pendant. Delicate lines and sparkles of blue and green opal in a matrix of red ironstone.  Good polish and pattern on both sides of the pendant.  There are some small pits on the back of the pendant. This is normal for this type of opal and does not affect its stability. A hole has been drilled through the stone and it comes with a leather thong, ready to wear.
