Tranlucent Boulder Opal   Origin Winton,  Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 2 (Boulder  Opal) Approximate Size 1" x 7/16" x 1/8" (26mm x 12mm x 4mm) Colour & Description Natural Boulder Opal. A seam of translucent opal on a natural ironstone backing. Flashes of very bright green and blue in horizontal stripes with a hint of red as well.  It is much better than the photo indicates. All of our boulder opals are polished to a glassy finish.  Both sides are polished with colour on the front of the stone only.  The opal is good when viewed from all angles and is very "flashy".  Transparency Opaque Cut Freeform Face Surface Undulating Weight 13.45  Carats Treatment None FRONT SIDE SIZING PHOTO Click on any of the photos for an enlargement.
