Yowah Nut Opal Slice   Origin Yowah,  Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 3 (Matrix  Opal) Approximate Size 1  15/16" x 1  1/4 " x 3/16" (49mm x 32mm x 5mm) Colour & Description A lovely example of a large Yowah Nut. This slice of a nut has a centre of fine blue and green seams, and the outside of the nut has a matrix of common honey coloured opal in an ironstone matrix. There isn't a lot of precious opal in this nut, it is mainly a good sample for a collector.
