Large Boulder Opal   Origin Quilpie, Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 2 (Boulder Opal) Approximate Size 1  15/16" x 11/16" x 3/8" (48mm x 17mm x 10mm) Colour & Description Full faced boulder opal with a couple of inclusions from the backing.  Very highly polished surface with colour on the front only. Blue and green sparkles with a lovely play of colour and a stripe of red/gold. All photos show the front of the stone. The stone is better than the photos indicate.
