Blue Boulder Opal   Origin Quilpie,  Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 2 (Boulder  Opal) Approximate Size  13/16" x 1/2" x 1/8" (20mm x 13mm x 4mm) Colour & Description A layer of precious opal on a natural silcated sandstone backing. Beautiful pale blue green opal with a couple of tiny inclusions and some common opal (potch) showing on the face. Very high glassy polish with colour only on the front of the stone.  Both photos show the front of the stone.
