Koroit Nut Opal   Origin Koroit,  Queensland Australia Opal Type Solid Opal Type 3 (Matrix  Opal) Approximate Size  1  3/16" x 9/16" x 1/8" (30mm x 15mm x 4mm) Colour & Description A beautiful crystal centred Koroit Nut opal. Dark ironstone matrix nut with a centre of gorgeous shimmering blue-green crystal opal.  Excellent polish on both sides with colour on the front of the stone only.  There are a couple of tiny internal fractures in the centre that do not affect the stability of the stone and are difficult to see with the naked eye.
