There is colour only on the front of the stone. It comes with a leather thong, ready to wear.  Transparency: Opaque Flaws: There is a fracture in the opal layer running the across the stone. It doesn't extend into the backing and does not affect the stability of the stone. It is not easily seen with the naked eye.
